We are excited to announce TWO of our very own RHSA Phoenix Visual Artists who both WON the prestigious annual NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) Art Contest 2023: STEAM-Fest - “How Science Protects Our Oceans”
The art contest aims to:
• Encourage students to learn more about our oceans.
• Raise awareness about issues affecting our oceans.
• Help students understand how they can make a difference.
Janae Ramirez Won 2nd Place - Grades 10th to 12th category
Sam Alder Won 1st Place - Grades 6th to 9th - category
Also, Janae Ramirez Won 3rd Place in the 4th Annual Dia de los Muertos (DDLM) Art Competition for the Tournament of Roses - Janae's artwork was chosen among a very competitive pool of 1000 High School student's submissions
